Notification of Claims of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or its agent or licensee, and you have reason to believe that any of the information on one of the web sites you reach through a hyperlink on our site contains material which infringes on your copyright, you may notify us pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 by sending notice to The Savings Institute, 803 Main St., Willimantic, CT 06226, (860)423-4581, webmaster@banksi.com. The notice must be signed by a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the allegedly infringed material, and must contain: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (b) identification of the hyperlink to the allegedly infringing material and information sufficient to permit us to locate the link to the infringing material; (c) a statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, or the copyright owner's authorized agent, or the law; and (d) a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of the allegedly infringed material. You must also provide sufficient information to allow us to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and, if available, your electronic mail address.

Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing in such a notice will be liable for any damages and any associated costs incurred by us, any alleged infringer, or any copyright owner or its authorized agent of licensee.
