Apr 12, 2017

STONINGTON, CT (APRIL 2017) – Savings Institute Bank & Trust recently donated the Stonington town painting created by Tom Menard that hung in the Mystic location of the bank. The beautiful oil painting portrays landmarks in Stonington, including many areas of the borough, and will be auctioned off at the Stars over Stonington event on April 28, 2017. The money raised from auctioning off the painting will help support the many initiatives of the COMO.

“We were delighted when the bank approached us about donating the painting to the COMO’s annual gala event as an auction item,” stated Beth-Ann Stewart, executive director of the COMO. “It’s a beautiful piece displaying many of our residents’ and visitors’ favorite borough landmarks.”
